Pixie Lott visited a local school in Brentwood to inspire pupils to take up music.
spent several hours at Brentwood County High School, which is close to her home.
As part of the government’s ‘Tune in -Year of Music’ campaign, she sang live, answered pupil’s questions and helped inspire their music lessons.
She said: “It’s wicked, it’s so cool to come to a local school and perform to a young audience, it was a lot of fun.”

Pixie says she might get a tattoo dedicated to her fans.
Pixie revealed to the Daily Star she is thinking about getting a tattoo done and has been inspired by Lady GaGa, who this week had ‘Little Monsters’ – the nickname she has for her fans – tattooed on her wrist.
Pixie said: “I was thinking of getting a tattoo but I don’t want to get it where you can see it – I could get a tattoo for my fans like Lady GaGa did.”

Pixie has reportedly teamed up with fashion designers Lipsy to launch a new clothing line. Pixie is said to be working with the label to create two new looks for the summer.
According to The Sun, one line will be aimed at girls who want a vintage festival look, while the other is desgined for urban nights out.
“Pixie’s a real style icon and everyone’s copying her distinctive look,” a source said.
“She looked great roughing it at festivals and equally as good glammed up.”

Pixie Lott has admitted that she is not confident about her chances at the Brit Awards next month.
The 19-year-old insisted that the competition is tough this year, but claimed that it would be “very cool” to be recognised at the annual music event.
“I would love it a lot. But there are so many great acts. I don’t know what’s going to happen. But it would be very nice,” ThisIsLondon quotes her as saying.
