Pixie Lott has suffered a mishap with a throat steamer and ended up with a scalded tongue. The singer has bronchitis and hoped steaming her scratchy throat would give her temporary relief. But the self-confessed chatterbox scalded her mouth on the apparatus instead.
As a result, Pixie has been downing lots of iced cucumber and veg juice. A source said: “She’s been taking this foul green mixture into every interview and slurping it between performances.

During her recent visit to Sydney, Pixie was — to her own surprise — papped like crazy when she arrived at a studio for a photoshoot. Pixie is being followed by the paparazzi now, but this time the photographers were expecting singer Katy Perry. Pixie tells an Aussie newspaper:
“I turned up to a photo shoot and there were loads of paparazzi outside but I think they thought that I was Katy Perry.”
“They started taking loads of pictures of me and one man came up to me and said: ‘Thanks Katy’.”
Pixie Lott wants a slap if she becomes bigheaded. She’s vowed not to let fame get to her head, and has even given her friends approval to slap and kick her, if she changes.
She said: “If anyone tells me I’ve changed or turned into a bighead then I’m giving them permission to slap me! Or kick me! Kick me and slap me please. I’ve made a vow to myself not to change.”
Although she is wary about the pitfalls of fame, Pixie plans to devote herself to her music career over the coming months, leaving her little time for love.

Well I’m doing some promotions in Japan at the moment… I’m very jetlagged and started off the week feeling a little sick and caught a little cough (the Japanese wear like a mask over their faces if they’re ill out of politeness, maybe I should do that? I’d defo look a bit scary) but I have some antibiotics from the doctor and am feelin much betta . The toilets here are so funny – they’re heated and have like a spray system to give you a spritz and a flushing noise button like a fake flush before u flush… I tried one out (just to hear the sound haha) but it sounds so fake everyone would know ur using it!! haha but yeah everyone here is so nice and polite and the sushi is delish…
Pixie thinks the ‘Twilight’ actor is very attractive, and is better looking than her other crush Zac Efron.
Pixie said: “I really like Zac Efron. But I’d prefer it if he messed up his hair a bit, he’s a bit too perfect. I really like Robert Pattinson. I can’t wait for the new ‘Twilight’ film to come out.”
